Date: 2011-02-13 04:58 pm (UTC)1) Gabriel is not..sunshine and puppies. He does not give selflessly, or martyr himself. He's a liar, yes, and while he's been true to himself, he hasn't because he's been hiding behind a mask, and has more baggage than you can shake a stick at. What he does, he does for Gabriel. How he does it, is how Gabriel wants to do it. He's not influenced by others.
2) Following the trend of my first comment, Gabriel has his dark side. Turn your brain to before the SPN world knew that Gabriel was Gabriel, but the hunted Trickster that everyone hated for what he did to Sam and Dean. And countless others. That was his existence for thousands of years. He may have helped saved the world, but he's no angel. (...you get what i mean)
3) The snark. For the love of God, the snark. Gabriel is witty, has thousands of years worth of pop-culture references, quick wit, but he is bitter. He's not going to be one at a loss for words, and with one exception as seen in canon, he's always going to have the last word.

Date: 2011-02-13 05:41 pm (UTC)1) He's got a one track mind. When he's got a goal (or an order), that's his priority and he's going to stick to it.
2) He's a shade of gray, which is his weakness and his strength. He's a few scales down from Gabriel in the independence category: He fights Hell, and yes, he rebelled against Heaven, but he never completely let go. He's always going to have one foot in Earth's door, and one foot in Heaven's door. In my opinion, yes, Team Free Will and all that. Do i think he's 100% Team Winchester? No. 100% Heaven? maybe once upon a time, but no.
3) His mannerisms. He's not Spock, or a robot, but he is that...kid growing into himself. I'm not saying he's a child, because he's one badass mofo. At the same time, he's finding his footing, picking up on human lingo and mannerisms, but he's still....Castiel

Date: 2011-02-13 06:04 pm (UTC)1) Don't be afraid of slang. "I say" "old thing" "corking" "posish." Sometimes people over-use his tendency of abbreviations. You know, bacon and eggs on toast with a cup of tea becomes. b. a. e. o. t. w. a. c. o. t. Just..no.
2) If Bertie's mouth opens, shit will hit the fan. Everything Bertie says will have repercussions.
3) He is dependent on Jeeves, no doubt, but he will try to fix things first on his own, and he will fuck it up. But..Bertie's stubborn. He just wants to do well by everyone, and make everyone happy.

2) He has a stick up his ass when it comes to Dean, but the stick isn't really up there. In a way, he's the mature sibling that needs to keep Dean on track.
3) Sam's been through alot of shit, but i feel like he needs the qualities of vulnerability, strength (both physical and emotional), and a good supply of bitchfaces.

2) Don't put him in close quarters. Or rather....DO.
3)Never let a love interest change who he is as a person (sorry, Maines.)
