Name a character I've written about, and I will tell you three things that I think are essential to keep in mind when writing that character.

Sam. Sam Winchester. The character that eludes me. Like Cas, he varies through seasons.

1) He needs to be knowledgeable, kind of like..a walking encyclopedia.

2) He has a stick up his ass when it comes to Dean, but the stick isn't really up there. In a way, he's the mature sibling that needs to keep Dean on track.

3) Sam's been through alot of shit, but i feel like he needs the qualities of vulnerability, strength (both physical and emotional), and a good supply of bitchfaces.
