February 19th....WHAT AM?!
Jan. 15th, 2006 12:21 pmOkay, so i find out i'm heading back to florida next month with mom to visit our cousins, who rented a house our there. Then we'd scope out the real estate in the area, etc etc.
So, mom tells me we're leaving February 19th. "Only thing is" she says, "Its pretty early."
"No problem" says I. "How early?"
"5:40 am" she answers.
"tch! easy!" I feel much better. "I got up at that time when we went with Erica!"
I did not like the look on my mother's face.
"No, Lauren." Still not liking the look on her face, i paused. "That's the time the plane leaves."
I keeled over. My mom was cracking up at my curled up position on the floor. She informed whoever was on the phone my state. I gasped and flopped, the drama queen i am. Then mom said the most beautiful words i've ever heard:
"Just wait till we tell Dad what time he has to drive us to the airport"
I starting laughing and jumped up. "I feel so much better now!" and skipped off into my room.
*cackles evilly*
*coughs and glances around*
On the one hand, i admit i was a bit uneasy leaving the 19th. I really do love my cousins and my grandmother, but i didn't really want to celebrate the big 1-8 without my dad and my friends
Luckily, we're returning on the 24th. *sweatdrop*
On a different note...i am so freaking cooldddd.
I told my mom if i was any stiffer i'd be dead.
*brain goes: wrong wrong wrong* but she got the picture.
Thats all fer now, i suppose. Rar.
