So my laptop is now safe and sound under my fingertips after many days in CICU (Computer..ICU...i'm funny. ha.)

All is well...i asked the guy in charge if he could load in a version of Adobe for me, and he did. nice guy. We also had a conversation that went like this:

Man: Your computer is pretty loaded. Worse case scenario, we clear it out completely. Is there anything you want us to save/backup?

(This was routine)

Me: Yeah. I want my pictures saved. I might have my documents saved elsewhere, but no matter what, i want my pictures saved.

Man: We get that alot. Pictures...got it. In My Documents?

Me: Yeah.

Man: So how about i save/backup that entire folder...yeah, we'll do that.

Me: Great, thanks.

Man: No problem.

*gets computer back...checks on My Pictures*

Not. One. Thing. Saved. Not one picture. Or document. Zilch. Nothing. Nada.

Friggin 'ell, man.

*cries*

It really depends on what was wrong with it.
My hard drive in my lappy was utterly bricked, twice.
Nothing could be saved.
Taught me to do reg'lar backups 'n shiz.
