Not so Cheery over Cleary
Dec. 13th, 2006 07:54 amSo, on Friday the ASL Club is heading over to the Cleary School for the Deaf. I'm really happy to be involved with the club...going places like Radio City gives me a sense of independence, and i'm doing something i love, with other people who love what i love.
Anyway, Friday is Signing Santa, and annual thing, but this year instead of holding it at Suffolk, we're going to Cleary. So we sat in meetings and brainstormed and budgeted, hired our Santa, wrapped gifts, and stuffed stockings.
But something was tugging at the back of my mind. A warning...a reminder.
A Memory?
Lauren, you can't go to Mill Neck and perform for the kids. You need to take your SAT.
"9:30" Prof. HC reminded us tonight. "Be at Cleary 9:30 the latest."
9:30?
I raised my hand. The Professor had a smile as she addressed me. I didn't speak, because i knew. So i signed.
'what happen if i have class in morning?"
And so Ellen Laino's voice blended in with the ASL Club Advisor.
"You Can't Go."
