Call me crazy
I sit here and i bitch and moan about having trouble with writing, and now i ask this of you.
Random pairings. Rare, even. Maybe characters that might be outside my comfort zone. Prompts. Etc
I think i'm looking to try and expand my horizons, so give me a random character/pairing and prompt, and i'll see what i can whip up, whether it be a drabble, ficlet, or even a small couple liner.
...Thanks?

Jeeves/Control, my evil plan to save the world
Tony/Bertie, I like coffee, I like tea...
(icon!Fry thinks I'm weird. I might have to agree with him.)

Tony. Bertie.
*dies in a explosion of omg cute and fluffy*
EDIT:
Jeeves. Control.
Jeeves/Control.
*mad insane plotting, nevermind that she has a NaNo thing to do*

Also, I have CAPS LOCK. (I don't even know. I should really go to bed when I get tired, instead of posting things on the internet.)

Reginald Jeeves raised a brow a fraction. "Sir?"
"Oh, yes," Control smiled. "Now, i know what you're thinking. You're thinking, 'Control, as the head of the British Secret Service, no evil deeds should cross your mind!' But i'll have you know, no harm would ever come to the people of our great country."
Jeeves waited, patiently, standing close to Control's shoulder.
Control, momentarily distracted by Jeeves' proximity, looked up. "Jeeves, i couldn't help but notice you're standing awfully close. I hope you don't mind, but i'm going to take the opportunity to kiss you, albeit chastely."
Jeeves just quirked his mouth and bent down, dissuading all of Control's 'evil plans to save the world'from the other man's lips.
Shall return to Tony/Bertie at another time!

Can't wait to see how Tony/Bertie turns out.
(also, apologies for slightly lame prompts. my brain likes to throw pairings at me, some of which end up being VERY strange (Jeeves/Control/Melchett WHAAAAAATTTT; also, I once dreamed Jack Harkness/River Tam, IDEK), but prompts are less forthcoming. So, snippets of songs!)

I HAVE NANO I CANNOT DESCEND INTO WRITING BOFFLE ORGIES OF AWESOME
no subject
a) exploding your brain, and
b) disrupting your NaNo
Can we be friends anyway?
no subject
b) if you had done this last month. or next month. or any month but this you would have ficlets up the wazoo.
c) *friended!* :D Good to meet you!
no subject
a.2) *totally had to type the word "brain" 3 times to get it right, WTF?*
b) so I should save these up and throw them at you next month?
b.2) ...George/Melchett/Tony/Control WTF BRAIN STOP THAT I DON'T EVEN...
b.3) also, I swear to god I'm not even going to start on the QI RPS pairings floating around in my head (WHAT is so ridiculously hot about intelligent comedy in a British accent, SRSLY)
c) hurrah! *handshake*
no subject
b) Absolutely! Lordy knows that I will need a break from angels and demons and whatnot next month. :)
b.2) Melchett/Tony makes me go unf.
b.3) X3 I understand completely.
no subject
b) sweet.
b.2) oooh. Brain hadn't gotten through all the permutations yet, but. Me likey. (Also, yes, I tend to talk about my brain as if it's a separate entity from myself. I don't really understand where this habit came from. Clearly, I am just odd.)
b.3) And there is Not Nearly Enough QI RPS out there. (I read one or two Stephen/Alan/Jeremy and the brain meltage fallout was spectacular. I just...they're all...
I can't words right now.)
(Excuse to use one of my way too many QIcons, hurrah!)
no subject
a.2) don't EVER talk about plot ideas on twitter, as your followers will inspire you further and not help exorcise the ideas at all.
b) My brain is also a separate entity from me. *annoyed at it tonight as she was dreaming about the above plot bunny last night*
b.2) I've read...one QI RPS fic. If I wrote RPS I'd do it!
(excuse to use my silly animal icon!)
no subject
a.2) I can see how that would be the case, yes.
b) I don't get plot bunnies in dreams, though I do sometimes get pairings. And then I go o.O? when I wake up.
b.2) I think the lack of plot bunnies comes a lot from the fact that I generally fail at fanfic altogether. I've written a couple, part of a MASSIVE Criminal Minds fanfic project a friend and I have been working on for...almost 2 years now (with no sign of completion in the future, as we're both in grad school and are generally lacking in time).
b.2.2) I also have a couple pieces of original fiction...kinda...that I've been working on for ages and can't make progress on. Because there's an eat-your-brain meme around here somewhere, where basically you write your own tv show. And I have TWO.
b.3) I think I've read pretty much all the QI RPS fics out there. Not hard to do, as there aren't very many.
b.3.2) I don't usually read RPS, honestly. Fry/Laurie and QI are pretty much my limits.

Tony + Bertie, G, fluff
"I can't see why you like the stuff, but each to his own, right?"
Tony looked at his cup of coffee and at Bertie's cup of tea and cleared his throat quietly. "Have you tried it?"
"Jeeves won't let me go about not liking foods or drinks if I haven't tried them, but that was ages ago..." Bertie hmmed. "What, do you think I'll like it now? Put it from your mind, Nephew mine, when I make up my mind, I won't change it for anything."
Except Jeeves, Tony thought, but for politeness' sake he said nothing about that. He thought about it for a moment, then snapped his fingers.
"What is it?" Bertie asked.
"Can I convince you to take one sip of it, Bertie? I know a way to flavor the coffee so that you might like it better."
"I don't know...I'm a tea man, you know. English to the bone and all that."
"Just a sip, please?" Tony asked, and tried looking at Bertie the way he looked at Control when he was being stubborn. He had been told he resembled a puppy, and it often worked, so perhaps...
"...alright, alright! But only one sip!"
Tony beamed at Bertie and bustled off to make a fresh cup off coffee, with an excess of sugar and creamer in it, and with just a touch of his usual magic when making coffee.
He carried the cup back to Bertie carefully and set it down in front of him, and stepped back, waiting expectantly.
A moment passed, and then Bertie picked up the cup, blowing on it briefly before trying a sip.
"I say!"
Tony brightened - that was exactly what he had wanted to hear.
"I say, this is extraordinary! It tastes...sweet? I didn't know that coffee could taste sweet!"
"I used an excess of sugar and creamer, Bertie," Tony said, smiling faintly, studying his shoes now, just a touch embarrassed. "I thought you'd like it sweet."
"Well I do," Bertie says. "Would you mind passing along the recipe to Jeeves?"
"I wouldn't mind," Tony said, "but I don't think he'd appreciate it much."
"Oh, rot. If I like it, he'll make it."
Tony fidgeted briefly. "I'm not so sure..."
"...oh, alright. We'll save this for when I visit, and keep it special. Alright?"
"Thank you," Tony said, relieved. As much as he liked Jeeves, he was all too aware of how hidebound Jeeves could be sometimes, especially when it came to drinks...or fashion, as Bertie had impressed into him with his stories.
"Well, I say, I didn't realize this could be so good," Bertie says again, and when Tony sat down again to resume his own cup, Bertie eyed his cup.
"Ah, what do you put in yours?"
"Not much, I'm afraid," Tony says. "It's nothing special."
"Pish to that, I say. You are exception with this coffee stuff."
Tony smiled shyly and sipped his coffee. "Thanks, Bertie."
