COMEDY stars Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie are to be reunited on TV for the first time in 15 years. The pair had their own sketch show and starred in TV drama Jeeves and Wooster.

Now they will appear on GOLD to mark the 30 years since they first teamed up.

Stephen, who fronts hit quiz QI, and Hugh – star of US drama House – will look back at their sketches and welcome pals, including Jo Brand and Jack Dee.

Stephen said: “It was a great joy reminiscing. I hope GOLD viewers enjoy watching us grow older and older.”

Fry & Laurie Reunited is due to air in the autumn.

People have actually set up a petition to cast Hugh Laurie as Professor Moriarty in the Sherlock Holmes sequel.

I don't see it happening...but i kinda laughed at the notion

The other day at the library, i picked up the tv series Fortysomething with Hugh Laurie.

It's very good (watched the first episode)- Hugh makes alot of Bertie!faces and is a doctor (who cares- go figure).

Next episode introduces a character played by some Stephen Fry fellow. Suppose he'll be good ;-)

And i was looking over the cast bios, and i see the name Paul Capaldi.

I went brainded. Hugh Laurie, Stephen Fry, Paul Capaldi, oh my! (Paul Capaldi played John Frobisher in Children of Earth)

Hugh goes starkie in episode 2. Hm... Hugh going starkie when Stephen makes his debut in the series.

Anywho, more work today. I get tomorrow off (As it should be)...but..yeah.

Still more brainded with many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] nemesishamartia . Went to sleep last night listening to Pest Control. And overall just...*keyboardsmash*. Nems is absolutely brilliant on so many levels.
